Portrait of young elegant couples in the tender passion

My Review
Although this is book #2 in The Unit series, it can be read as a standalone and you won’t be lost if you haven’t read book #1 (which I haven’t).
I received a copy  in exchange for an honest review.
The story starts with Lola, a 20 years old college student having a girl’s night at a bar with her friends. Whilst at the bar, she is kidnapped by a man she was dancing with and discovers she is going to be sold by a Cartel known for human/sex trafficking. The hero of the story, Rob, is a member of the security team, The Unit, that is hired by Lola’s father to rescue her. They quickly fall for each other while Rob is protecting Lola from the threat of the Cartel coming back for her.
I liked the characters and it was a really good storyline, but found the writing was a bit formal in some places, but all that being said, it was overall a good book.
Stronger is a solid 3 1/2 star read for me, meaning I liked it, but didn’t love it.
