Review for SAVING LAWSON by R.J. Lewis
Title: SAVING LAWSON

LOVING LAWSON MUST BE READ FIRST! This is the SECOND and LAST book.
Heath Lawson always prided himself on doing right. It was the reason why he brought Allie Wallace into his life in the first place after she turned to him, pregnant with his brother’s baby and with nowhere to go. He didn’t expect to fall in love with her, but now that she’s his, he’s not going to let her go.
However, after the unexpected death of a gang member, the town descends into chaos as the leader of the Syndicate gang is on an avid search for the one responsible. And when Heath begins to take matters into his own hands to protect the ones he loves, he’s torn at the double life he leads. The trust he once offered to the one woman that ever loved him is jeopardized as he begins to lose himself in a dark and dangerous world of lies.
I have been waiting for the sequel to Loving Lawson painstakingly and Rana has again outdone herself with Saving Lawson. This book has everything you want from a book and keeps you glued to the pages with all of it’s twists and turns.
I loved it and everything about it.
I loved how the characters progressed. I can’t really say much without giving spoilers.
You get more of an in-depth look at Ryker and what he goes through whilst in prison and I loved the surprise character.
Heath is still SEXY AS HELL and goes through some crap in this story, finding it hard with everything that is going on with his life, trying to be a good dad to Kayden, Allison’s son.
Allison is such a strong independent woman trying to be a good mother, finish school and trying to figure out what is going on with Heath.
Then there is Heath’s new friend Marko, who comes from no-where and is very mysterious.
The writing is impeccable, as is the story itself.
This book is one of my favourites of this this year. I love Rana’s books and she is one of my top ten authors.
